Most recent News: MMM Historians not granted access to California Archives
Donated to Riverside Major Archive and other archives.
My Opinion: Church unaware of California History, the massive number
ofdescendents who might have primary sources, where to look for them,
unwilling to patch it up with poorly paid volunteer librarians who have
worked for many years.

No adversising in Utah, Whittier, and Centerville, Alameda papers.
No looking for archived academic papers, and unwillingness to acccept
work of oral Historians. The notion that only descendants of the
survivors stories are withoutbias, that the mass killing at the
Meadows outweighed
both the Genocide of Indigenous Californians [some 660,000 souls], and
the thousands of Genocidal Acts against Mormons, of Murder, Spreading of Disease, Burning of Houses at Night. War Orphans without shoes or winter clothes.
Raped Mothers and Young Women, Floggings, No rights to
marked graves or Cemetaries until they reached Utah.

The Crime of the Southern Utah Mormons, that outweighs the Bear River
Massacre and the anti-Mormon Genocides is not that the victims were
innocent, but that they were White Southerners.

The Missouri Mormon Exterminnation act and Trail of Tears were set in
motion the same Winter, 20 years before the Massacre. I'm not saying
that the drunken braggarts who shot up Cedar City with the gun they
claimed they had used, among others, to asasinate Joseph Smith could
not have been identified and disapeared without further violence.
They should have waited for their superiors, and orders. That is why
Mormon Historians, and there are many, would not accept the idea
that Brigham could have given the order.

It was a stupid plan.
